2010 will be an exciting year for us, partnering with local schools, the Community Gardens of Rancho Cucamonga will be having fundraisers, name the garden contest and other fun events for the whole family.
Community service will also be available along with volunteer programs for high school students, buddies with senior citizens and other programs!
Our goal is to make the garden available as an extension of the classroom to educate all on nutrition, food production, preservation and living a healthy lifestyle through the planting, growing and harvesting of organic fruits and vegetables.
The Community Gardens of Rancho Cucamonga is a collaborative nonprofit community project that is excited to introduce this Educational Program providing programs in nutrition, food production and preservation, organic gardening and healthy lifestyles.
We are located under the Edison Power lines, 15 acres of which, on the south side of Foothill Blvd. and west of Day Creek, adjacent to the Foothill Crossing retail center where Sears Grand is located.
We will be having fundraising events, fresh fruits and vegebtables and community availble soon. Join us. Help us fill your basket!
